Gutter Art for a unique look

Everyone has gutters. However, if you are looking for a new and interesting way to make your home or business the talk of the town, then gutter art is the way to go.  It allows builders to create rain gutters that are specialized just for your home or company.  By using Gutter Art, a unique look is created for your home or business.

The company that supplies Gutter Art to both metal workers and construction crews has created a machine that makes it so that your rain gutters can be made to look like the crown molding in your home.  Additionally, you can choose to have your gutters made in a variety of colors, custom patterns, and embossing.  The materials from which these gutters are made are stronger than traditional, plain rain gutters.

As of now, there are currently five patterns to choose from.  They are Ashley, Aztec, Cherokee, Diplomat, and Stars & Stripes. The Ashley is swirly and the Aztec has stars. Stars & Stripes is as American as the flag design while if you choose the Cherokee, you get X marks the spot. Finally, the Diplomat has ovals.

All gutters with art are made with a seamless gutter machines that are either 5 or 6 inches. There is also an embossing addition for the 5/6 combo Mach II machines.  They are easy to assemble and use and are safe and reliable, as well.    There are a variety of different materials can be used in the machines without having to do much to the machine and any changes that must be made generally take about 20 minutes to complete.

Each gutter machine is operated with a push button and includes both polyurethane and stainless steel rollers.  Additionally, the machines are forward pulling and have a power interruption safety circuit in order to prevent accidents. Each machine has two Rotatable Reel Stands with Easy Lift Reels as well as an electric motor and welded tubular steel frame.

Maintenance on these machines is minimal as they only need to be cleaned annually as long as the chains are kept tense and lubricated and the sheer is lubricated regularly, as well.  Taking these steps will allow your company to keep the machine for many years.

If you are in the gutter installation business, then you may be interested to know that there are several other accessories that can be purchased for your gutter machine, as well.  This includes the EZ-Counter Computerized Length Controller that allows the user to program up to 50 lengths and track material. There are also miter options available on all gutter machines, and you can operate in the measurement of your choice including feet and inches, inches only, or centimeters and it operates as an easy-touch screen.

Finally, there are ten other options that purchasers can choose from to enhance their gutter machines and gutter art.  These include; a run out stand, a coil cradle, a cover and various electrical amps and a ground fault interruption plug.

Why you business should have a gutter machine

When it comes to selecting gutters for your home or office, it seems as if the sky is the limit.  There are four major choices that you have to make. They are, the style, size, color, and whether or not they should have seams.  Once you make these decisions, the only other thing you need is a gutter machine in order to make the job easier.

Prior to the 1970s, most gutters were made of wood.  Today, you can choose from a variety of materials. The most popular of which is aluminum because it is easy to work with, lightweight and does not corrode.  Another popular choice in gutter material is copper.  Copper is similar to aluminum. However, it does not need to be painted.  Another common choice is to have gutters made of galvanized steel that is covered in zinc. However, they tend to rust and clog more often than gutters made of aluminum or copper.  There are also gutters made out of vinyl that are available as a low-cost alternative, but they do not last as long as those made of metal. In addition, you have to purchase them precut with seams and cannot use gutter machines to make them.

Another choice that needs to be made when deciding on new gutters is the style. This is how you would like them cut.  The most popular styles are U and K, and U.  The U style looks like the letter U and the K-style is cut to look similar to the crown molding found inside most homes.  While most gutter machines are programmed to cut K-style gutters, you can ask your salesperson if they can cut other styles as there are also styles A through L available for you to choose.

The next decision you have to make when it comes to new gutters is the color you would like them to be.  The most popular color is white. However, there are many others to choose from.  You have to determine what color is best for you home or business and the effect you would like it to give.  After all, the outside is the first impression given and gutters help make it a good one.

In addition to choosing a unique color, another way that you can improve the look of your gutters is to include gutter art.  Gutter art is when a design is embossed into the metal and can be done by adding an additional piece of equipment to the gutter machine.  There are five designs to choose from or you can ask about creating your own for a truly unique experience.

Finally, you need to decide on the width of your gutters.  The most common sizes are five and six inches.  However, there are some gutter companies that also offer seven-inch gutters as with the flip of a switch on the gutter machine, you can switch between the sizes.  Bear in mind that the wider the gutter, the more water it can hold.  But, it also takes more material to make wider gutters, so they will be more expensive.

How to find a good home inspector

A few months ago you decided it was time to move. You saved up for a down payment and for moving expenses. You also sat down and figured out how much of a mortgage you could afford while getting pre-approved for that loan. You then went out with an agent looking at different houses until you found the one you could call home.

The title search has been completed and a closing date has been set. You have called and hired movers. The only other thing you need to do is find someone to do a home inspection. If you are not sure where to start, ask your agent for some names. You can also ask friends and/or family about who they used.

Once you have the names of some home inspectors, go online and check them out. Look through their website in order to find out about experience and certifications, and which professional organizations they are a part of. In addition, you may also be able to find a sample report and information on their licensing and insurance.

Another thing that you should do before calling anyone is to look for reviews. They may be on the inspector’s websites or they may be on Yelp or Facebook. Finally, go to the Better Business Bureau site and see how they stand there.

After you have narrowed down your list, give the few remaining companies a call. While it is important to ask about pricing, you should also ask if you can be in the house while the inspection is being done. You learn more by seeing the actual issues that are found rather than reading about them in a report.

You also need to enquire with the home inspectors you are considering what is and what is not included in the inspection. While a typical inspection usually includes looking at the foundation, roof, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, garage door and appliances, there are at least two additional tests you should ask about. The first is a termite inspection. Do not be dismayed if the inspector tells you to call a pest control service, as they are usually more qualified to do this type of examination.

The other assessment you should ask about is radon testing. Radon is a naturally occurring gas. When there are high levels of this gas found in a home, the result can be lung cancer. High levels of radon are the second leading cause of lung cancer. Furthermore, the EPA estimates that up to eight million homes have excessive radon levels. This has led to over 20,000 deaths a year. If your home inspector does not offer radon testing, there are several do-it-yourself kits on the market.

Whomever you choose to do your home inspection, be sure to get a written report once the examination is complete. If major issues are found, this can be used as a negotiation tool between you and the seller as some of the fixes can be expensive to implement.

History of Ethernet switches

Scientists in the 1800s believed that a substance known as ether allowed light to travel through space. While physicists denounced this with the discovery of photons, the idea lives on through what is known as the Ethernet or the way in which bits of information travel through computer networks.

In the 1970s, Xerox charged a man by the name of Robert Metcalfe with the job of coming up with a way of enabling the computers at the Palo Alto Research Center to share data. He was inspired by an earlier experiment in networking called the Aloha network that began at the University of Hawaii in the late 1960s and developed a radio network for communication among the Hawaiian Islands using a common radio channel. However, all stations used the same network causing the information to collide, get garbled, and need to be resent. As traffic increased, so did the collision rate.

Metcalfe took this information and developed a new system that included a mechanism that detected when a collision occurred. The original network was known as the Alto Aloha Network and had a data transmission rate of 2.94 Mb/s. The name was soon changed to Ethernet using the word ether to describe how the cables carry bits to all stations in a similar manner as the old “luminiferous ether” was thought to disseminate electromagnetic waves through space.

In 1980 the Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), Intel, and Xerox (DIX) announced the first standard for 10 Mb/s Ethernet and the license for use could be purchased for $1,000. In 1982, Xerox gave up its trademark on the Ethernet name and as a result, the Ethernet standard became the world’s first open, multivendor LAN standard.

At the same time, Metcalf began working for the company that is now 3Com and then went on to accept a position as Professor of Innovation and Murchison Fellow of Free Enterprise at the University of Texas Cockrell School of Engineering in 2010.

Ethernet prospered in the 1980s. However, installing coaxial cables in buildings was difficult and connecting computers to the cables was also a challenge. Both a thinner cable, as well as a twisted one were both introduced in this decade. The thinner one made installation easier and the twisted one made troubleshooting easier. It was not long after that the technology truly took off.

The speed of the Ethernet in the 80s was around 10 Mb/s. In 1995, it jumped to 100 Mb/s and the use of fiber optics began. Not three years later, in 1998, the Gigabyte Ethernet was introduced bringing speeds of a billion bits per second to fruition. In 2003 and 2006, the speed increased again.

Both the twisted-pair and fiber optic Ethernet inventions coincided with the development of networking switches.  These switches have Ethernet interfaces or ports while the operation of switch protocols is not part of the Ethernet standard. Therefore, you can build a wide variety of networks with switches including those for manufacturing with the use of industrial Ethernet switches.

Through the use of Ethernet switches the Ethernet, LAN, and the internet continues to evolve to heights Metcalf could have never imagined when he first began his research.

What is radon mitigation?

According to the American Cancer Society, radon is, “a colorless, odorless, radioactive gas that forms naturally from the decay of radioactive elements, such as uranium, which are found in different amounts in soil and rock throughout the world. Radon gas in the soil and rock can move into the air and into underground water and surface water.”

Exposure to radon generally occurs when one is indoors. Radon levels are usually highest in the basement or crawl space because the amount that one is exposed to depends on the makeup of the rock and soil in the area. Furthermore, radon levels vary greatly in different parts of the United States, as well as within neighborhoods. Moreover, elevated radon levels have been found in every state.

While cigarette smoking is by far the most common cause of lung cancer, being exposed to radon for a long period of time is the second leading source. In fact, scientists estimate that approximately 20,000 people die each year as a result of exposure to elevated levels of radon. This is due to the fact that radon breaks down into tiny radioactive elements. These particles can lodge in the lining of your lungs, where they give off radiation. This radiation, in turn, can damage the lung cells and, over the course of time, lead to lung cancer.

While no level of radon exposure is considered completely safe, the EPA recommends that some sort of radon remediation be done in your home if the level average 4 picocuries per liter (pCI/L) or higher. A pCI is the measure of the rate of radioactive decay of radon gas or the tiny particles that can get trapped in your lungs when you breathe.

There are do-it-yourself kits available in most home improvement stores or you can call to have professional testing done. Licensed testers are usually hired when an over the counter test shows high levels and/or a home is listed for sale and either the seller or the buyer want to ensure there are no problems with the property prior to the deal being final.

Radon mitigation covers any actions taken in order to reduce the amount of radon gas concentrations that are found in the breathing zones of homes and buildings, as well as removal of radon from water supplies. Reduction of radon in the air is usually accomplished through ventilation or by increasing the number of air changes that occur per hour in a building. Aeration and activated charcoal are available to remove radon from domestic water supplies.

The American Cancer society offers a variety of suggestions in order to reduce radon gas levels in your home. They include sealing cracks in your floors and walls and increasing ventilation through sub-slab depressurization through the use of pipes and fans. Furthermore, the EPA recommends using a state or nationally certified contractor to install a radon reduction system because lowering high radon levels requires technical expertise and special skills. The two agencies have come together in order to set the standard for participants seeking certification.

Different types of Window Shutters

One of the most overlooked window covering is also the oldest. Window shutters were introduced in ancient Greece and were also popular with colonists in New England. They are considered more functional than shades and curtains. Furthermore, if they are fit and hung correctly, they offer more privacy, insulation and air circulation, as well.  Shutters can also stand alone and do not need other window coverings to compliment them.

When you choose to hang interior shutters, you allow the room occupant to determine how much light they want in to let into the room. In addition, when they are shut tight, they also work as insulators and have been known to reduce utility costs.  Shutters protect furniture and floors from sun damage and take up less space than other types of window coverings. Not only can they be custom made to fit any size window, indoor shutters fit all types of styles.  Shutters are easy to wipe clean and allow the window to be cleaned effortlessly, as well, and, there are no strings or springs to deal with.

Shutters come in three styles that you can choose from.  They are plantation, cottage, and west coast plantation. Plantation shutters are often dropped into the window frame and have large slats.  It is the most popular type of shutter. Cottage shutters have small slats and are connected to hinges that are then attached to the window frame.  They resemble outside shutters and are popular on the East coast. West coast plantation shutters have larger slats and hinges than those of traditional plantation shutters and are mostly popular in California.

In addition to style, you also need to decide on the look you would like your shutters to have. Again, there are three looks to choose from, solid panel, tier on tier, and café style. Solid Panel shutters have only one panel. They are good at keeping the light out in both bedrooms and media rooms.  In addition, they are also considered good insulators. Tier on tier shutters have two separate panels that can be opened separately in order to allow for both light and privacy control. Café shutters cover only the bottom half of the window in order to allow for privacy while also letting light in.

Shutters can be manufactured from a variety of materials.  The most popular of which are wood and composite materials.  Composite shutters are made of medium-density fiberboard which is covered with polypropylene.  Shutters can also be made of vinyl and aluminum.  Vinyl is popular for bathrooms and other humid areas where moisture can warp wood shutters.  Aluminum shutters are the best choice for big windows because it is a light material.

Shutters usually cost between 20-25% more than other window treatments.  Furthermore, both traditional and exotic woods are the most expensive shutter materials.  Moreover, shutters are generally priced per foot of material used to make them and not per shutter purchased. This tends to increase the price considerably over blinds and shades.  However, while they seem pricey up front, if you install shutters, you could qualify to receive a tax break as shutters are the only window covering considered a “capital improvement” by the IRS.

How to hang window blinds

While you probably could measure and hang window blinds on your own, it is not recommended.  It can be a difficult job that requires both skill and patience.  Furthermore, if you measure incorrectly for custom made window coverings it could be an expensive mistake.

The first thing you have to is be honest with yourself about how handy you are.  If you cannot tell a wrench from a hammer, home improvement should be left to the professionals. This includes hanging window treatments.  After all, you are trying to cover your windows, not make a new one by way of a new hole in the wall.

The next thing you need to take into consideration is the size and location of the windows you will be covering.  They could be difficult to reach or have funky arches.  The job may require scaffolding or a tall ladder in order to be able to reach the windows that need covering.  Moreover, if you are covering a lot of windows, the job could become overwhelming.  It can also end up taking a long time because you are not up on the most efficient ways to get the job done and have never done it before.

Another thing to remember is if you are not the handy type or are a construction worker, you may not be familiar with everything required for the job.  You will need specific brackets, screws, clips, supports, anchors, pulleys and other equipment in order to install the custom blinds, including hammers, nails, and screwdrivers.  You need to be sure that you have it all before you begin and that it is all the correct sizes and shapes, or you will spend a lot of your time traveling to and from the local hardware or home improvement store.

You need to take into consideration the material you will be working with.  This includes both the window covering materials and what the walls are made of, as well.  It is recommended that the lighter the fabric, the lighter the hardware is. That is, unless, you are working with concrete walls.  If that is the case, you will need special machinery to get through the cement in your home.  However, if your walls are made of plaster, then you will only need anchors to support whatever you choose to hang on the walls.1

Furthermore, with as expensive as window blinds are, professional installation is recommended.  No one wants to spend a ton of money on expensive shades, shutters, or blinds, only to have them hung wrong, crooked, or lopsided.  Therefore, by hiring a handyman or professional installer, you can ensure that your investment looks its best and stays in place.  Additionally, by hiring a professional, you avoid injury and get the most out of your purchase.

Stores that sell Hunter Douglas blinds, shades and shutters usually have installers or can recommend a few to you.  After all, why spend a lot of money on expensive window coverings and then skimp on installation.

Eating disorder treatments

More than 20 million women and 10 million men suffer from a clinically significant eating disorder at some time in their life. These statistics include the four main disorders which are anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and OSFED, or other specified feeding or eating disorder. Many go unreported and untreated.  In addition, it is unknown how many people struggle with body dissatisfaction and eating attitudes and behaviors defined as being sub-clinical in nature.

If you have an eating disorder,  then you have an unhealthy relationship with food that is interfering with your life. You might eat little or no food, or eat excessively large amounts of food. You also may be obsessed with thoughts of food and/or exercise, and have a distorted body image. The most prevalent signs of an eating disorder vary but usually include the refusal to eat, excessive exercising, social withdrawal, and self-induced vomiting or binge eating.

While there is no cure for these ailments, treatment is available and is usually designed to restore the person to a healthy weight, treat any psychological problems, and reduce behaviors or thoughts that contribute to the eating disorder. It also includes nutrition therapy so that the affected person can learn to eat right and regain his or her health.

Suffering from an eating disorder can lead to a number of health problems. Many can be resolved with the help of medical nutrition therapy. If you or someone you know has anorexia nervosa, he or she may also end up with osteoporosis, as well as muscle loss and weakness and dry hair and skin. Hair loss is also common.

Bulimia sufferers usually have electrolyte imbalances that are caused by dehydration and a loss of potassium, sodium, and chloride from the body as a result of his or her purging behaviors. This imbalance can cause irregular heartbeats, heart failure,  or death, as well as chronic, irregular bowel movements and constipation if he or she also abuses laxatives.

Binge eaters often experience peptic ulcers and pancreatitis, as well as both high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels. Heart disease can be a result of elevated triglyceride levels. He or she may also end up with either Type II diabetes or gallbladder disease.

An eating disorder tends to distort the patient’s perceptions of what a healthy diet includes. Nutrition therapy helps in the form of an eating plan that will allow you to obtain and maintain a healthy weight. It also helps to instill normal eating habits.

Both underweight and overweight patients can benefit from a medically supervised diet to return them to a healthy weight as they need to learn their body’s cues for hunger, fullness, and satiety. They may also need to re-establish blood-sugar levels through portion re-distribution and Improve food-related behaviors and develop a neutrality toward food.

If you or someone you know is suffering from an eating disorder, get help as soon as possible because the sooner a person with an eating disorder gets help, the greater the likelihood of both physical and emotional recovery.

Different types of roofing

Everyone needs a roof over their head. It keeps you safe from nature, both the weather and the creatures that you share your environment with, but do you know what your roofer installed and if it was the best choice? Chances are, you are just glad that it is less than 20 years old and is not leaking or in need of repairs.

Asphalt is the most common material used in roofing because it is also the most affordable. However, if you live in an area that is subject to ever-changing temperatures, asphalt may not be your best choice. Additionally, asphalt works best on slanted roofs. On a positive note, coated asphalt shingles may meet the Energy Star standards for a cool roof and earn you a rebate.

If you need to have some asphalt shingles repaired, there are two ways to do so. The first is to lift the offending shingles and add roofing cement both underneath it and on the top of it. If the corner is curled, use a roofing nail to secure it. Metal flashing underneath can be placed the roof shingles in order to prevent water from getting through to the roof deck.

There are four main styles of asphalt roofs. They can be made to look like weathered wood, bark wood, slate, or charcoal.

On the other end of the spectrum is tile. It is the most well known when it comes to roofing materials. However, it is also the most expensive. Tiles can be molded in several different shapes and are often made in lighter colors in order to keep them cool. In addition to being visually appealing, they have also been known to last up to 80 years.

The most common problems associated with tile shingles are leaks, holes, and cracked or broken tiles. To fix them, you can spread plastic roofing cement around the cracks or holes in order to fill them in. You can also seal or join the cracks. If it is really bad, call a roof repair specialist to pull up the tiles and replace them.

If you are bent on having a tile roof and either your budget cannot handle the cost or the clay is too heavy for your home to support it, you can have tiles made out of metal, concrete, slate, as well as other synthetic compositions.

In the middle of asphalt and tile is wood. Wood shingles are the most environmentally friendly shingles. They are also durable and can last between 30 and 50 years. You can choose between cedar and redwood.

Be aware that wood shingles can catch fire more easily than asphalt and tile. Additionally, they are more prone to termites and mold. Wood shingles can crack, blow off, or become warped. Most of the time, you will need to replace the broken shingles because repair is difficult.

When deciding to replace your roof, it is best to ask your roofing professional what the recommended material is for your home and your wallet.

When to hire a PR agency

While you may want to shout about your company from the rooftops and tell everyone about it, in order to get value out of a PR agency, there are a number of steps that you should take before you go out and hire one.

First and foremost, you should have an objective and a well-built story to tell.  You should know where your business is going, the product you are selling, and its place in the market.  You should have both conviction and a plan.

You should start a PR campaign as early as possible. However, you first have to have a story that you are ready to tell.  Therefore, if you have not nailed down your story, understand your positioning and market fit, as well as settled on your brand message and presentation, your PR will not be effective.

Once you are ready, you can then hire a public relations agency to manage your company’s public image and give you a “leg up” in getting the word out about your brand.  In addition, the right public relations agency can aid in crisis management if your business recently experienced some bad coverage.  That is because it is a PR firm’s job to help shape the voice of your company and, the public’s opinion of your product or service.

Before you sign a contract with any company, you should ask the following questions:

  • You need to ensure that you can afford the services being offered.
  • The length of the contract and what is included in it. You should also find out how to sever the contract if you are not happy.
  • What you will need to do. You need to know what your role will be.
  • The channels they will use to promote your business. There should be both an online and traditional media component.
  • Find out if the firm has dealt with your industry before.  Also, look for recommendations and reviews.
  • Team members. You may be meeting with the sales team, and not the actual people who will represent your company.

Additionally, it is best to set realistic expectations when hiring a PR agency.  After all, they are charged with creating a presence, developing relationships with key influencers and maintaining those relationships so they continue to pay dividends down the line.  Therefore, it may take some time for the results to come to fruition.  If either you or the PR firm you hire has a flimsy approach, it will result in flimsy results.

PR executives cannot magically promote a product or business and sustain interest in it without a deep dive into messaging, vision, company direction, culture, and voice.  This is especially true when dealing with social media. Sites like Facebook and twitter have made it so that news cycles are fast.  In that aspect, you have to look at PR to do what advertising does, repeat, because repetition matters. However, the advantage PR has over advertising is the aspect of authority. The message still needs to be repeated and consistent.

Best ways to use a vaporizer

Many people have started using a vaporizer in order to smoke marijuana.  This is due to the fact that it cuts down on the number of toxins that enter the body.  This is due to the fact that you are inhaling vapor or steam and not smoke.  Since the vapor inhaled is composed entirely of THC, the psychoactive part of the marijuana, the high is immediate and powerful.  There are three main types of vaporizers, volcano, herbal, and portable.   There are many studies on the usage of vaporizers and the consumption of marijuana.  Most of them have found that the majority of, if not all, dangerous components were reduced or eliminated.  However, the tar concentration in the vapor remained at about 10 times higher than the concentration of THC. That being said, the concentrations of tar and THC are still better than in any of the other methods of consumption.  Nevertheless, there is still a risk of cancer and other problems. The fact that THC remains in the vapor may cause some people to cough.  Some believe that adding a water filter or system may help.  However, it only adds water to the mix and does not address the amount of THC.   Most vaporizers work similar to the way an espresso machine works.  There are three chambers, a lower chamber, a filling chamber, and an upper chamber, as well as a mouthpiece, and a balloon.  If you would like to improve the experience, you can add flavors to the filling chamber.  Some of the more popular include coffee, cinnamon, and mint.   To begin, loosely pack the filling chamber with finely ground buds.  The better the marijuana is ground, the more hot air can pass through it.  Next, make sure that the chambers are tightly screwed together and turn on the machine.  Let it heat up and inhale slowly.  If you have a volcano vaporizer, you will need to attach both the mouthpiece and the balloon.  The air will go up into the balloon and cause it to inflate.  When it has grown to a decent size, remove it and slowly inhale.   There have been numerous studies done in order to determine the best temperature for vaporization.  It can be anywhere between 350 degrees and 420 degrees.  Many people believe that the product will begin to combust and burn at 400 degrees, but that is not true unless you are using Celsius instead of Fahrenheit.  However, lower temperatures can stretch out the vaporizing process.   In fact, one study found that the same amount of product was used at both 350 degrees and 420 degrees.  The same study found that the higher temperatures are better for CBG delivery.  They also are better for making sure all the THCA is converted to THC.  The optimum temperature for that to occur is 445 degrees.  At 392 degrees, the process was not complete.  Furthermore, CBG increases over 90 percent between 392 degrees and 446.   Regardless of the type of vaporizer you own, it is best to read the instructions before using.

Social Media and Chiropractor Marketing

On the bottom of your patient intake forms, there is probably a section that asks how he or she found out about your office.  While some people will say that they were referred by a friend, colleague or another doctor, chances are, they looked you up on the internet and that includes social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Prospective patients research you and your office in order to get a sense of who you are as both a person and a professional.  They want to know what other people think of you and what goes on in your office, especially behind the scenes.  This research is one of the many reasons why the various social media platforms should be a part of your chiropractic marketing plan.

In order to be perceived as the expert in your local area, you need to sharing great content and connect with people.  If you do this on Facebook, it will then be liked and/or shared so that more people than just your followers will see it.  They may then, in turn, become followers themselves.  Those followers, then turn into shares and clients.  Thus, you get some help with your chiropractor marketing.

Therefore, before you begin posting, be sure that you have completely filled out the about section of the business page.  This will not only give people a way to contact you and your office, it will also lead to brand recognition.  People will see the name and photo and connect it with you.

However, you may be wondering what to post so that others are willing to like and share it.  Your posts primarily should not be blatant advertising.  In fact, that should only be up to 15% of what you post, probably less.  Instead, combine Facebook and Instagram and post behind the scenes photos or ask your patients if either you or they could post before and after pictures from their visit.

You can also post links to chiropractic news that is relevant to your followers.  For example, if a celebrity swears by his/her chiropractor or there is a report on how many people stopped taking pain relievers after seeing a chiropractor.

Another way that you can get your patients involved in your chiropractic marketing plan on social media is a link to Yelp or another site where clients can review your services.  This link should also be on your business website, as well.

You can also post random tips and favorite products.  You are also encouraged to get personal by asking for advice on something pertaining to your life outside the office.  This will not only make for excellent interaction between you and your clients or potential clients, it will also show that you are human.

Whatever you decide to post, be sure to include at least one hashtag.  While they were started on Twitter, hashtags work on all social media platforms and make it so that more people see your posts.  A simple search of a particular hashtag will bring up your posts.

Pen v portable vaporizer

Herbal vape pens are considered to be a part of the e-cigarette family. There are many styles and types to choose from. However, vape pens tend to last longer than traditional e-cigarettes or e-cigs.  When used for smoking tobacco, many people tend to graduate from the e-cig to the vape pen once they become more knowledgeable on the subject.

Most marijuana vape pens are approximately the size of either a traditional fountain pen or a large fountain pen and have a battery life that is way better than typical eCigs.  These devices generally carry enough battery power in order to last all day or more, depending on how much you use it.

However, since pen-style vaporizers heat plant material to the point of combustion they are not considered portable to the vaporizer community.  In order to be considered a portable vaporizer, the plant material cannot come into direct contact with the heating element. In most pen-style vaporizers the heating coil comes into contact with the plant material which causes it to burn or combust and, therefore, does not truly vaporize.

Therefore, even though pen-style vaporizers are portable in the sense that you can easily carry them anywhere, they do not meet the requirement to be called a portable vaporizer because they do not vaporize the plant material.  Instead, these products use conduction style heating which usually ends up burning the herb.  Furthermore, when a person uses a pen-style vaporizer, then he or she must start the heating by pressing a button.  He or she must continue to hold the button down in order for the process to continue. Therefore, it is virtually impossible to heat plant material this way without combustion.

In a traditional portable vaporizer, the heating chamber is separate from the heating element.  By keeping the two systems apart, the plant material is simply warmed by hot air passing over the material and not from direct heat.  The cannabis does not come ever into contact with the heating element and therefore, combustion cannot take place.  This, in turn, allows for a true vaporization experience.

Furthermore, most pen-style vaporizers do not allow the user to have control over the temperature.  However, most portable versions let the one enjoying the vape have control over the temperature all of which are well below the point of combustion.  Additionally, if one is new to the vaping experience, he or she may overheat the herb by using a setting that is too high.  This will inevitably cause combustion to occur.  Therefore, it is important to not only read the directions that come with the product, it is also important to learn proper vaping techniques.

Another difference between the two products is that through the use of combustion, pen-style vaporizers can not only vape dry herbs, but there are also models that can vape the oil extract in the form of pure oil or wax, in addition to shatter and budder.  Both limit the odors produced and allow users to partake almost anywhere without detection.
